The Kitting associate supports the production lines by ensuring workstations are continuously supplied with materials, tools, and components to minimize downtime and maintain efficient workflow. Key Responsibilities: Picking Components: Locating and pulling individual parts, materials, or products from warehouse shelves based on a customer order. Assembly & Packaging: Grouping the components together, placing them into designated bins or boxes, and preparing them for transit staging into a designated area. Quality Verification: Ensuring that kits are complete, accurate, and meet customer or production line specifications. Inventory Management: Updating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), maintaining an organized staging area, and restocking component inventory as needed.
