PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Community Education Coordinator Director is responsible for the developing and implementing community education events and programs in the Bristol Bay area. This position also oversees the Women, Infant, Children (WIC) program. The coordinator will work with other programs, departments and agencies and Village Tribal programs to develop an increased awareness and participation in healthier lifestyles, self-care skills and overall disease prevention by the people of the Bristol Bay Area. QUALIFICATIONS: A Registered Dietitian. Prefer prior WIC Program experience or experience in a related field such as Maternal Child Health. Preferred rural Alaska experience educational background.
