Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Supervisor of Independent Skills Training, provide a range of services and supervision to residents of West 108th Street to assist them to identify strategies to increase their self-management of personal and instrumental activities of daily living. SERVICES TO RESIDENTS • Train and coach residents as needed in activities of daily living and independent life skills, including personal care, room cleaning, laundry, budgeting and bill-paying, shopping, and socialization. • Escort residents to medical, entitlement, and other appointments as directed. • As needed, help residents with room-clean-outs and preparation for bed-bug treatments, including but not limited to packing up clothes and other items and doing laundry.
