Description: Under the direction of the Site Manager of Porter-Leath Early Head Start, the Teacher will have the responsibilities of being the primary caregiver for one group of children in the Porter-Leath Early Head Start facility. Supervisory Responsibilities There are no supervisory requirements for this position. Assist the nutrition staff with preparing high-quality meals for students. Relieve teachers during periods of absence and during breaks. Remain a flexible and organized team player in order to help all members of the Porter-Leath Community. Qualifications HSD or GED with a Certified Development Associate (CDA) Certification with Infant Toddler Endorsement is required. Relevant work experience with infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers required. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Experience working in a non-profit is preferred.
