Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum five (5) years' experience performing federal construction jobsite quality control and safety inspections
Maintain continuous on-site presence during active construction operations as required by contract.
Implement and manage the Quality Control Plan (QCP) and Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP).
Conduct the three phases of control (Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up) to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Perform daily quality control inspections and maintain detailed quality control reports and documentation.
Enforce safety standards in accordance with OSHA and USACE EM 385-1-1.
Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and weekly safety stand-downs as required
Prepare, review, and enforce Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) for all definable features of work.
