The position performs a variety of tasks including, but not limited to clerical type duties. The work is under general supervision of higher-level personnel in preparation of various tasks involving Common Access Card (CAC), the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and the Real-time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS). The Personnel Assistant I is expected to always exercise discretion and tact; limited judgment may be necessary at times.
