Summary: Proficiency in routine procedures in radiology department. Perform mammogram as directed by physician. General x-ray work includes chest, extremities, and headwork (skull & sinuses) radiographic exams. Pediatric and podiatry constitutes a major portion of radiological procedures at PHC. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Perform a variety of technical tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body. Adjust equipment for proper radiographic exposure technique in accordance with radiation safety guidelines. Perform all procedures in accordance with radiation safety guidelines. Perform all procedures in accordance with established protocols as outlined in the procedure manuals, ensuring diagnostic quality as set by the radiologist and/or community standards.
