LPN’s on 4 Main Med-Surg Telemetry Unit at UK Good Samaritan Hospital provide for medical surgical patients and adults requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Patient conditions include a wide range of medical conditions and recovery from surgical procedures which may or may not require telemetry monitoring. The LPN model follows the Licensed Practical Nursing Scope of Practice deemed by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
