Job Summary:
The Director of Hospice is a Registered Nurse who is a member of the patient interdisciplinary care team within the Department of Hospice and is directly accountable to the Executive Director of Post-Acute Care and CMO. Responsible for the overall operation of the hospice program including Asbury Hospice House. . The position requires that the individual be clinically competent, demonstrate leadership abilities, and be knowledgeable in hospice regulation. Conducts sound business practices in meeting federal, state and accreditation standards and regulations. Responsible for planning, coordination and supervision of quality of services, appropriate staffing, and all services are available.
