Designs, develops, and implements proactive patient safety and risk management activities to meet the requirements of the BIDMC Patient Care Assessment Program, MA Department of Public Health, the MA Board of Registration in Medicine, The Joint Commission,, CMS Conditions of Participation, and other organizational/regulatory requirements. Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: Maintains current knowledge of BRM, DPH, TJC and other regulatory standards and disseminates information to the appropriate individuals. Identifies risk events, situations posing risk, and near-miss incidents through review of data received through the BIDMC Incident Reporting System.
