Lead WIC Nutritionist
Reports to the WIC Manager is responsible for providing nutritional/health education, assessment, and consultation. Is also responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the nutritionist and clinic assistants by maintaining day to day operations of the WIC clinic assigned.
This WIC agency adopts the belief of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) policy statement "Human milk is species-specific, and all substitute feeding preparations differ markedly from it, making human milk uniquely superior for infant feeding."
