*About Middleburg Humane Foundation (MHF)* Middleburg Humane Foundation is a non-profit, no-kill shelter located on a 23-acre farm in Marshall, Virginia. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome a wide range of animals — from cats and dogs to equine, livestock, and pocket pets. In 2025, we impacted over 2,000 animals, performed more than 1,600 surgical procedures, and facilitated over 800 adoptions. Our programs include intake and adoption services, a Community Cat Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program, food assistance, humane education, internships, and extensive volunteer opportunities. MHF operates a full-service veterinary clinic on site, which provides both routine and advanced medical care for our shelter population and animals from partner non-profit organizations.
