Overview: This position is part of the City of Peoria Co-Responder Social Services Unit (SSU), a state-funded grant program. SSU clinical personnel assist individuals who come into contact with or are referred to the program. The role supports safer interactions between community members in crisis and police personnel while maintaining a high standard of professional service. It also focuses on connecting individuals to appropriate mental health, substance use, and other needs-based services to support stability and contribute to a healthier, safer community.
