The Montville Township Public Library , located in northern Morris County with convenient access to I-80 and I-287, seeks an innovative, creative, and community-minded professional to join our leadership team. The Library serves a growing suburban community of approximately 22,450 residents.
The Assistant Library Director plays a key role in the administration and development of the Library, overseeing daily operations, supervising and coaching staff, and assuming responsibility for the Library in the Director’s absence, including working with the Board of Trustees and Township officials.
As Head of Programs & Services , this position provides leadership for public services, programming, community outreach, and collection development. The Assistant Director will oversee the Children’s and Young Adult collection development budgets and help plan and manage the Library’s large-scale cultural, educational, and family events.
