In this role you'll coordinate cross-platform content gathering, ensuring timely and accurate news distribution across digital channels. This fast-paced role requires excellent writing, editing, and social media skills, as well as the ability to thrive under pressure. You'll become a key player in our 24/7 newsroom, helping to keep the Kansas City community informed and engaged with strategic, real-time news coverage. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Identify breaking news in real-time and aggressively gather facts for cross-platform distribution by coordinating all internal and external content. Write, edit and optimize digital story content as it is gathered for the web, with story-by-story direction from the Digital Director.
