General Purpose: This Senior position reports to an Accounting Manager and is primarily tasked with helping the Company to meet its SEC reporting deadlines. This position will be critical in preparing various schedules and reports which support the financial statements. With a strong understanding of SOX Internal Controls, this person will be able to create and save a clear audit trail of their work for internal and external auditors to understand and test. This Senior position will also assist in documenting technical accounting memos, concluding on the proper accounting treatment for various transactions and events. Additionally, the Company is becoming subject to new energy usage reporting requirements in the state of California and this position will help build on current efforts to collect and report this data.
