This position typically reports to an Assistant or Associate Director, Director, or other appropriate administrator in an academic or IT unit. This high level non-exempt position provides a combination of behind the scenes expertise in coordinating, monitoring, scheduling, testing and troubleshooting network servers as well as providing direct customer service in coordinating and determining video and audio requirements for events. This position manages processes, such as video conferencing gatekeeper, end point hardware, bridge and points on bridge, video editing and video streams, CD/DVD duplicators, and software for web graphics. This position is not primarily a content developer.
