The IBC IRE Coordinator II provides support for the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) and Institutional Review Entity (IRE). The role manages daily operations for these committees, maintains protocol records, and ensures compliance with federal policies. The specialist works closely with researchers, sponsored programs, committee chairs, and regulatory bodies to support safe conduct of life sciences research. The role also assists with training, reporting, communication, and monitoring activities tied to biosafety and biosecurity programs. The Role: IBC/IRE Operations Management Coordinate all IBC and IRE activities, including meeting scheduling, agendas, minutes, records, and follow-up actions.
