*PURPOSE OF POSITION:* To perform welding, fabrication and assemble of precision and close tolerance parts for the manufacturing of sealless pumps. Lay out, fit, and weld a variety of standard and special fabricated, cast, and forged small and medium size weldment. *JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Read and interpret blueprints/drawings, method sheets, routers and related technical data to determine weld and assembly requirements. * Weld, Assemble, inspect and test components and assemblies according to procedures and documented specifications. * Select and set-up equipment, plan layout, position, align and weld components using standard fixtures and specialized setups including the use of welding positioners, turntables, and automatic wire feeders. * Check finished work to ensure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints * May prepare, fabricate, layout, and produce small diameter butt-welded piping subassemblies in stainless steel and higher alloys to...
