The main responsibility of an Assembler is to produce high-quality products that meet the customers’ requirements in accordance with Fort Wayne Metals mission and certifications. Ensure efficient operation of all equipment in order to produce high-quality products that meet the specifications and quality required by Fort Wayne Metals and our customers.
The Shape Set department wraps wire on a fixture using tension or a twist machine and then uses a fluidized bed or hotbox to set the shape. Some parts may require a microscope or magnifying glass to wrap/unwrap wire.
This opening is for 3rd Shift : Monday - Friday 11:00pm-7:00am. It is likely you will be asked to train on 1st shift, which is 6:50am-3:20pm.
Starting pay is $20.51/hour. This position is eligible for Shift Premium pay.
