Quality Inspector - Manufacturing & NDT (Bird Johnson) Location: Bird Johnson - Pascagoula, MS Department: Quality About the Role Bird‑Johnson, part of Fairbanks Morse Defense (FMD) , is a long‑standing leader in the design, manufacture, and overhaul of marine propellers and propulsion system components . Our work includes controllable‑pitch and fixed‑pitch propellers , along with large‑scale foundry castings, machining, finishing, and inspection of propulsion hardware used on U.S. Navy surface ships and submarines , as well as select commercial marine applications. As a Quality Inspector , you will play a direct role in ensuring the dimensional accuracy, material integrity, and overall quality of large, highly engineered propulsion components.
