The Thin Film Operator (Assembler) will perform multiple Thin Film operations including but not limited to cleaning, lapping, laser drilling, sputtering, and kitting of substrates. The role involves rotating between multiple operations at defined schedules and includes the use of machines, wet benches, microscopes, and hand tools. The role includes the use of hand tools, automated pick-and-places, microscopes, and machines. You must be able to work a swing shift position. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform kitting of substrates and small parts onto gel packs using tweezers and vacuum wands. Load and unload substrates from an automated pick-and-place machine. Physically count substrates and confirm quantities are accurate. Visually inspect kitted substrates and confirm the correct parts have been kitted. Inspection may be performed under a microscope.
