This position coordinates the surgical service specific technology and creates a positive and efficient culture of service to the physicians and team members. Job Function : Job Standard Coordinator is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations and coordinating quality improvement and equipment maintenance for specialty Program. Manages surgery schedule, communicating with scheduling offices for schedule changes, rescheduling, providing clear, concise information to ensure procedures are posted correctly and correlate with surgeon's intended surgical procedure. Creating/updating/revising procedure cards to achieve accurate list of supplies for materials management team to ensure proper items are pulled/sent for cases. Order and maintain inventory of service line instruments and accessories, order and maintain ancillary supplies related to surgery.
