The Department of Criminology at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa invites applications for two nine-month tenure-track Assistant Professor positions to begin August 7, 2026. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must possess a Ph.D. in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a related social science discipline by the date of appointment. Advanced assistants are encouraged to apply . ABDs will be considered but degree must be in hand by time of appointment. Area of specialization is open. Preference will be given to those applicants who demonstrate an ability to make a significant contribution to the department's doctoral program. Evidence of effective teaching experience, online or in person, is preferred, and applicants should show a strong record of research productivity and grant potential.
