Under limited supervision, resolves all types of the most serious losses, heavy commercial property losses or other assigned losses by investigating, negotiating settlements, presenting evidence in legal proceedings while maintaining high production levels; makes sales calls and presentations when requested. College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience adjusting complex property claims or claims with heavy losses. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good attention to detail. Strong analytical and mathematical ability. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Computer knowledge. Must be licensed as required by state and local jurisdictions. Must have a valid driver's license. Must complete continuing education requirements as outlined by Crawford Educational Services.
