Cease Fire Investigator This full-time law enforcement position is primarily responsible for investigating crimes involving gun violence or those that have a nexus to gun violence. The Investigator collects evidence, interviews witnesses, and testifies in court. The Investigator will be assigned to the regional drug task force and will work alongside both the narcotics investigator and criminal investigator. They will also conduct follow-up investigations with domestic violence victims, as well as cases that tend to increase in severity.  The Ceasefire Investigator is a sworn Law Enforcement position that is a non-uniformed Deputy.
