Description: SUMMARY OF POSITION Senior Backend Engineer will support and enhance a mature back-end codebase for a Linux-based web application, with RESTful APIs powering our suite of X-Ray detection-based products. They should be comfortable working independently as well as with a team in the design and development of mission-critical web applications with layers of infrastructure. The primary focus will be in the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the server database, integration of the image processing algorithms in Python to the server software and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from clients.
