Description:
The food safety and quality technician is responsible for monitoring the manufacturing and packaging of food products to ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are adhered to and that finished products meet all specifications. It is the responsibility of all Schwartz Brothers Bakery team members to report any potential food safety and/or quality issues to their supervisor immediately Monitors production of food, including ingredient, lot code, and process verifications Measures product parameters such as weight, packaging, sensory data, and identity preservation (Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, allergen, etc.) to ensure specifications are being met Initiates and releases product/ equipment holds for non-conformances or pending micro analysis Records product data in the Product Grading Spreadsheet. Notifies Bakery FSQ team when product is out of specification Inspects all areas of the plant daily for equipment, storage, sanitation, maintenance, and GMP issues....
