Security Systems Designer II Job Description: This role is responsible for the overall design of security systems projects, including access control, CCTV/video surveillance, intrusion detection, fire/life-safety interfaces, networking, power, pathways, and related low-voltage system components. The role works closely with sales, project management, operations, field personnel, customers, engineers, IT stakeholders, and other trades to incorporate project requirements and develop complete, coordinated security system designs. This role supports submittals, bill of materials development, redlines, as-builts, and design updates throughout the project lifecycle. Previous work experience with electronic safety and security systems, low-voltage construction, system integration, and drafting is helpful in order to succeed in this position.
