Description: JOB SUMMARY Responsible for administrative and clerical duties for the CRAA Police department. This position reports to the Records Supervisor. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS : Proofreads, interprets and ensures police reports are properly coded based on established agency standards and in accordance with SCIBRS and transmits monthly report to SLED; retrieves, interprets, and disseminates information for law enforcement computer systems, databases, and other sources; utilizes SCDMV online program to verify vehicle and license information; and distributes and receives reports of investigative details to/from other law enforcement agencies.  Receives walk-in guests and telephone inquiries from a variety of individuals; initiates and receives calls, provides information and resolves matters, or routes calls.
