Safety Coordinator Job Description: The Safety Coordinator will assist in the supervision and administration of Harris health, safety and motor vehicle programs to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. They will contribute to the desired safety and work culture of the organization. Safety: Assist in controlling hazardous working conditions and unsafe employee activities through interface with project management/supervisory personnel. Assist in supervision and administration of safety/first aid and rescue squad activities. Assume total responsibility for safety operation when assigned to shift work. Participate in developing and conducting employee orientation training, task specific training, ongoing supervisor training and assist in developing/training project manager safety.
