Overview: The Ultrasound Technologist II provides direct patient care and manages equipment and scheduling for efficient work flow. Prepares patient for diagnostic procedure and conducts ultrasound with proficiency assuring quality of imagescaptured. Overview: Performs Ultrasound scans as well as procedures in a fast-paced inpatient and outpatient setting. Technologist will rotate between fixed and portable imaging and utilizes an EMR for exam tracking.   The Ultrasound Tech must be effective with communication, clinical skills, and able to work positively in a high stress environment with patients, peers, families and other internal / external personnel.
