Job Summary: Under the direction and supervision of the Patient Care Supervisor, responsible for the transportation of patients and participates in total direct patient care when needed in a team approach. The clinical assistant must have the ability to work therapeutically in a community of emotionally and/or chemical dependent patients. Primary responsibility includes safe transportation of patients, patient belongings and assisting, as needed, with basic patient care on the units. Observing patients and maintaining patient safety, assisting patients with activities of daily living, both physical and emotional, and with meeting team objectives.
