JOB DESCRIPTION: The High School Outreach Athletic Trainer (AT) is employed by the hospital or health system and assigned to partner high school(s) to provide comprehensive sports medicine services. This position serves as an extension of the hospital’s sports medicine program, delivering on-site injury prevention, evaluation, emergency care, treatment, and rehabilitation services to student-athletes while strengthening community relationships and supporting physician practice growth. The Athletic Trainer works under the direction of the team physician and within hospital policies and clinical protocols.
