Overview: Job Duties The Social Worker will provide support and services to patients and their family members. This includes referrals to appropriate community resources(both local and national) that provide quality information, financial assistance and psychosocial support. The Social Worker encourages patients and families to become involved in activities that provide mutual support for each other. Social Workers also collaborate with the clinical staff on patient navigation and are responsible for assisting with transportation and helping the uninsured access funding services for care. NOTICE TO APPLICANT This position will close at 12:00AM MST on the End Date. *Hiring Incentive pay: $10,000 or $8,000 To be eligible for the incentive, the following guidelines will apply to officer candidates that are hired with Doña Ana County ending 06-30-26. • $10,000 split into two payments for any new applicant that has three (3) full years of prior corrections experience in a jail, detention center, or prison provided on their application.
