Dispatcher I JOB FUNCTION / PURPOSE The Dispatcher I - under general supervision - is responsible for relaying service requests to field personnel and identifying specific issues that require further investigation by the appropriate personnel . RESPONSIBILITIES • Handles requests from customers, remote monitoring systems, Account Managers, Homeowner Association Board members, etc. • Dispatches field personnel (technicians, plant operators, emergency maintenance crews) as requested by customers or field and operating supervisors. • Responds to after-hours customer (repair) service requests and coordinates the appropriate service response. • Receives, classifies, and prioritizes all incoming calls in the Dispatch All queue. • Monitors and logs all communications on a dispatch log sheet or in the work order program. • Monitors and responds to facility alarms, security system alarms, and TX 811 Locate requests. • Performs other duties as assigned.
