Overview: The EMS Instructor provides high-quality educational and training opportunities to EMS System Members. Will provide Quality Assurance for system members, as well as chart review for Arrow and AirLife. Will support AHA course offerings for CREMS system members as well as work to support the Parkland medic program as assigned. Overview: 36 hours/week   The ED Technician functions under medical direction of the Medical Director and direct supervision of the ED attending physician, with general management by the RN. The ED Technician provides care for patients in accordance with physician orders, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies. Provides direct and indirect patient care while adhering to the mission and objectives of the hospital in order to meet the healthcare needs of patients and families. The ED Technician will be responsible for collecting pertinent data within their certification scope of practice and will report all clinical and psychosocial findings to the RN and ED Attending.
