Overview:
PRN Position Under the direction of the Program Director/Manager and Medical Director, the Transport Paramedic is responsible for assessment, triage, treatment and evaluation of patients during transport by ground. The transport paramedic must function autonomously utilizing medical protocols and advanced skills under the direction of the medical director. The transport paramedic utilizes clinical process to provide comprehensive care to the patient and documents that process on the patient record. The transport paramedic serves as a resource for other team members by sharing skills and clinical knowledge. The transport paramedic must be effective with communication, skills, and able to work positively in a high stress environment with patients, peers, families and other internal/external personnel.
