BASIC FUNCTION The Consumer Loan Funding Specialist is responsible for funding consumer loans accurately, efficiently, and compliantly across both the Direct/Centralized Lending channel and the Indirect dealership channel. This position manages loans from approval through funding, performs final review and post-funding audit of loan documentation, communicates directly with members and dealership partners, and adjusts priorities between channels based on business need, staffing levels, and loan volume. This position is regularly scheduled Tuesday through Saturday in order to extend WEOKIE's consumer lending capability into Saturday, when member and dealership demand is highest. The role enables members to complete and fund a loan on a Saturday rather than waiting until the following business day, and provides same-day dealership funding support during peak weekend vehicle sales volume.
