Riggs Cat Power & Energy is hiring Field Technicians at two levels. PM/Test Techs perform preventive maintenance, load bank testing, and inspections on generator sets and switchgear. Oil & Gas / Industrial Techs diagnose, overhaul, and maintain gas and diesel industrial engines in oil & gas compression and power applications, from the G3600 and G3500 down to C9 and 3300-series, including frac pump engines. Level 1 is the operational backbone that keeps commissioned power systems running, pairing electric power fundamentals with disciplined, hands-on PM and testing. Level 2 is our deepest mechanical and engine specialization in the field and the technical backbone of our Oil & Gas (Power) fleets. At both levels you work on running equipment at client sites.
