*Position Description:* Plans, directs, and evaluates preparation and administration of regular, therapeutics, and modified diets prescribed by the providers for the patients/residents with normal and nutritional needs by RDA and ADA Patient Care Standards. Performs nutritional assessments and documents the results timely. Completes outpatient consultations within a reasonable time frame. Communicates with Providers and Nursing Staff for the Nutritional needs and recommendations regarding each patient/resident. Directs a controlled nourishment program for residents/patients. Researches and evaluates industry best practices and implements them in coordination with the Director of Food & Nutrition Services to create an exceptional dining experience for all residents/patients.
