The Field Engineer is responsible for keeping the Project Superintendent and/or Project Manager accurately and fully informed of the survey aspects of the project(s), particularly with layout and as-built data. Tasks and responsibilities of the Field Engineer shall be described in a listing of project-specific duties as prepared by the Project Manager and/or Project Superintendent. RESPONSIBILITIES Become thoroughly familiar with the project drawings and specifications (including the general conditions), Owner Contract, and subcontracts. Maintain a thorough understanding of all the contract documents. Setup jobsite with required control points needed for all surveying work. Understand survey equipment needed...
