POSITION SUMMARY The Geomatics Field Engineer is responsible for the execution of all field survey related activities on assigned projects including but not limited to establishing and maintaining project control, topographic data collection, construction layout (staking), as-built documentation, equipment calibration, machine control calibrations & tech support, GIS, utility locating, and drone flight planning & operations. In addition to traditional survey means and methods the Geomatics Field Engineer will be responsible for all flight operations and necessary means of aerial data collection.
