Zeochem is seeking an experienced Wastewater Utility Operator. The ideal candidate should have: Wastewater treatment experience including handling caustics and acids A mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and maintain equipment including automated valves, performance pumps, MAG Drive pumps, agitator/gear box (for oil), and wastewater auto sampler Team oriented approach to support maintenance and production OVERVIEW: The Wastewater Utility Operator monitors all on-site Utility Systems to support the manufacturing of Molecular Sieves. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Checks pH levels of all wastewater streams to verify Wastewater Treatment plant is operating within specification; notifies supervisor if problems arise Makes routine Wastewater Treatment plant system checks and responds to all associated alarms during shift Cleans and calibrates pH probes; uses washing, acid cleaning and/or silicate cleaning procedures as required...
