The Opportunity Tetra Tech is looking for full-time, mid-level Biologist based in our Oakland, CA office. Position Summary The selected candidate will provide environmental planning, sampling, oversight, and monitoring during wetlands habitat restoration or other construction projects. Specific activities may include: • Planning and leading biological field surveys and performing habitat assessments and evaluating potential project impacts. Preparing biological assessment reports, technical memoranda, and permit materials. • Supporting CEQA and NEPA environmental reviews and applying federal and California regulatory requirements. • Coordinating with agencies such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Regional Water Quality Control Boards, and local jurisdictions. • Supervising or mentoring junior biologists and field technicians.
