Description: • Design and maintain standards expertise, policies, procedures, and manuals for Supplier Quality on the determination of new supply sources, supplier quality relations, standardization of measurements, and acceptable criteria of materials. Compile supplier performance KPI metrics and participate in supplier scorecard development. • Ensures suppliers meet requirements. Develop supplier to meet these requirements as needed. • Supports the Sourcing team in the selection and quality of potential suppliers and Support NPD (New Product Development) projects. • Interfaces with personnel from multiple plants to resolve chronic or major supplier issues and verify that suppliers understand process/product requirements. • Implements and maintains quality improvement and auditing systems with suppliers focusing on process controls, quality control, quality management and quality systems. • Review engineering specifications and drawings to determine suppliers' abilities to...
