The one-year postdoctoral fellowship training emphasis is on pediatric screening and intervention with a focus on parent management training for caregivers of children ages 0-12 years with varying medical disorders, developmental disabilities, and behavioral disorders. The services are mostly in-person, but some telehealth services are required. The psychology fellow will become certified in the HOT DOCS and DOCS K-5 parent training interventions and, as part of these interventions, will have opportunities for education advocacy through working with caregivers to support patients' rights and needs. Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field. Typically reports to the head of a medical department. Participates in obtaining additional clinical training by providing direct medical care to patients in a hospital or medical clinic setting.
