PRIMARY FUNCTION: To provide training for entry-level service technicians for Gregory Poole Equip Co throughout North Carolina. Students will develop skills to be productive with limited on-the-job training following graduation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Attend FDTC on a rigorous 22 month schedule while also working for a local GPEC facility during semester breaks. Prerequisites for Entrance into this Program: Interview with Program Advisor, Director, or Sponsor Minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.5 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education : HS Diploma or equivalent. Physical : Must pass mandated company physical/drug screen and background check. Other : 1.Students must have satisfactory ACT, COMPASS, or SAT test scores for entrance into this program. 2.Some programs require that all entrance test scores must be no more than five years old.
