SUMMARY OF POSITION : The Routing Admin is a key role in the Operations Department as this individual is responsible for routing orders for shipment to our largest accounts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the routing of customer purchase orders ensuring designated carriers are used and that freight arrives on time for delivery. Coordinate with customers and carriers through email and customer websites Create all outbound bills of lading for both less than truckload and truckload shipments as needed. Verify all truck shipments, carton counts and weight match BOL. Understand advanced shipping notification (ASN) processes and serve as back up to compliance. Provide accurate, detailed and timely carrier pickup schedules to the Warehouse Manager.
