Department Lib-Research Coll & Presr Cons Category Library Job Type Full-Time Overview The Research Collections & Preservation Consortium ( ReCAP ) seeks a Shelving Facility Assistant , a dependable and energetic individual to help process and maintain library materials in its high-density shelving facility. Library items sent to the ReCAP facility are sorted, shelved, scanned, retrieved and refiled for each of its member institutions. The individual will be part of a team that rotates responsibilities on a daily basis. ReCAP is a partnership of Princeton University, Columbia University, Harvard University, Yale University and The New York Public Library. The ReCAP facility encompasses eight shelving modules, a cold storage film vault, and a 25,000 square foot processing center.
